Introduction Jill is a Behaviour Analyst (certified by the BACB International Board) with a Masters in Special Education. and a Post Graduate Diploma in Child and Family Counseling. Jill has over 20 years of extensive experience working with children with additional needs, families and teachers across homes, schools and preschools in both the not for profit sector and in private practice. A leader in her field, Jill co-developed and launched Sydney’s first not for profit, early intervention service focused on implementing the science of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) within a family focused model. Jill is passionate about developing an evidence based tool box for parents and teachers to equip them with the necessary strategies and techniques needed to make lasting change in their children’s learning.
Jill is an experienced presenter running workshops and presentations at conferences, universities, schools and preschools in Sydney, Regional NSW and abroad.
Jill is keen to share her knowledge and enthusiasm to help children reach their full potential. Highly skilled in assessment, analyses and intervention to support children’s learning across all developmental domains and the reduction of challenging behavior, Jill uses a systematic approach to tackle behaviour and up-skill family members and teachers to support the child’s learning and development.
Jill believes strongly in the power of building positive interactions with children through play and is well renowned for her highly energetic sessions with both children and adults alike. She prides herself on building rapport with children while also working very hard to tackle the harder issues. Jill is invested in building the capability of parents and teachers through modelling and coaching methods to allow them to implement and continue these strategies. Jill aims to build a partnership with families and works collaboratively to reach their child’s and families goals.
